Love Versus Like







If I ask you what is love , what are your thoughts for love? What is the definition of love? All of you might have different answers. For some it is their way to live. If you don't love anyone your life is useless . Love is the most precious thing in the world. It is the special bond or affection that binds you to other people . Okay, but what about like? Like doesn't bind you to someone? Is it necessary to love someone you live with or to live with someone you love ? Can't you live with someone you like? Like makes you happy. Love makes you feel. Like makes you smile. Love makes you realize.

Is it necessary that the person you like is the only one you love? No; but surely, the person you love is the one you like. Like is pleasant. Love is attachment. Love compels you to do things you hate but Like eases your way. Love breaks your heart. But like unites the people on the same path. People give up on their lives if they don't get their love. Like has a different meaning. Love and like are two different roads of life leading the same way. Love is constant throughout , like changes everyday. If we get what we like, we are happy but if not we don't regret. Love is looking inside each other but like is based on the nature. Love is worship for some but like might make someone to worship.


We all are fans of someone or something. For example, footballers Ronaldo or Messi. Do we like them or love them? Are we ready to forgive our lives for them or we only enjoy them playing?   We like their physique. We like their dressing styles. We like their attitudes and aggression on field. So, do we like them or love them? All of us have crushes . Do we like them or love them? We are fascinated by the beauty of a thing or a person doesn't mean we love them. Like is simple. Love is complex.

Like is liberal but love demands commitment. We often like praying to god but we don't love it. Love is like a bird in the cage or an animal in the circus who has to act according to his master's will or for the sake of loved one. But like is free. Love makes people to change for someone but like brings changes to someone's life. Love is physical, like is emotional. Love is grateful. Like is fruitful.


To sum up : love is life and life is like. If you like you would not hesitate to love and if you love you would surely like it. Love is broader, like is narrower. Like is the beginning, love is the end. So, in your opinion which is better - to love or to like? Obviously, for the end, we first need to begin with. Love is the shadow and like is the window.
